Each generation is defined by events that occur doing those years of exploration and growth. For our parents it was the Depression, World War Two and the Korean War. Their parents had War World One and the Roaring Twenties. Our generation has Sputnik, the Cold War, Duck and Cover , TV dinners, JFK, Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, the Apollo moon landing, and of course Vietnam. Each individual has their own defining moment, where they were, what they were doing.
We somehow survived riding bikes without helmets, playing with BB guns and knives, riding in the back of the pick up, and cars without seat belts or air bags.
Nearing the age of retirement we begin planning on how, both financially and time wise, we will spend our days. Fortunately many of our options can be checked by the wonder of our time, the internet. Links on this site are only meant to get you started.
